These Marketplace Rules set out the standards of conduct that apply to everyone who uses AccoSwap, and explain how AccoSwap enforces them. They are incorporated into and form part of the AccoSwap Terms of Service, and words defined in the Terms of Service have the same meaning here.

    1. Purpose of These Rules

Most scams follow a similar pattern: a user moves the conversation away from AccoSwap, or asks to be paid outside Escrow. These rules allow AccoSwap to act promptly and proportionately so that users can trade with confidence. Users who buy and sell through AccoSwap in the normal way are not affected by the enforcement measures described below.

    2. Keep Every Deal on AccoSwap

2.1 No off-platform contact. You must not share or request WhatsApp, Telegram, phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles or external links for the purpose of moving a deal away from AccoSwap.

2.2 No payments outside Escrow. You must not request or offer direct payments, such as PayPal Friends & Family, bank transfers, gift cards or personal cryptocurrency wallets, in place of AccoSwap Escrow. Any payment made outside Escrow is not protected by AccoSwap and is made entirely at your own risk.

2.3 Discussing payment. Discussing how to pay through AccoSwap is permitted. Arranging payment outside AccoSwap is not.

2.4 Automated flagging. Messages that appear to contain off-platform contact details or requests for outside payment may be flagged automatically for review by our team.

    3. Honesty and Accuracy

    • You must list only Digital Assets that you own and have the right to sell.
    • You must not sell stolen, hacked or borrowed Digital Assets.
    • You must not provide false or misleading information about a Digital Asset, including fake followers, fake engagement, false earnings or undisclosed problems.
    • You must not post fake reviews or attempt to manipulate seller badges.
    • You must not make false statements about AccoSwap's fees, Escrow or rules.

    4. Fair Dealing

    • You must not use pressure tactics, such as false urgency, invented emergencies or threats, to rush another user into a transaction.
    • You must not harass, abuse or threaten other users, or post hateful or unlawful content.
    • You may use another user's information only for the purpose of the transaction you are completing with them.

    5. Impersonation and Official Channels

5.1 No impersonation. You must not impersonate AccoSwap, AccoSwap Escrow or any member of our staff.

5.2 How AccoSwap communicates. AccoSwap communicates with users only through AccoSwap Chat, AccoSwap notifications, or email sent from an @accoswap.com address. The official escrow emails and profiles used in a transfer are displayed only on the relevant escrow page.

5.3 Reporting impersonation. AccoSwap does not ask users to make payments outside the site. If anyone claiming to represent AccoSwap asks you to do so, please report it to support@accoswap.com.

    6. Listing Standards

6.1 Review. Listings are reviewed by our team before they are published.

6.2 Description. Descriptions must represent the Digital Asset honestly, including its subject, its audience and any matter a Buyer would reasonably expect to know.

6.3 Prohibited content. Listings must not include personal contact details, external links or any other content that is not permitted.

6.4 Duplicates. The same Digital Asset may not be listed more than once.

6.5 Corrections. A Listing that does not meet these standards may be returned to the Seller for correction. If it is not corrected, it may be rejected. Repeated violations may lead to suspension of the AccoSwap Account.

    7. Conduct During an Escrow

    • You must follow the Escrow Instructions shown on the escrow page, in the order shown.
    • You must not change or use the Digital Asset outside those instructions while the escrow is active.
    • A Seller must not recover or take back a Digital Asset after selling it.

The full escrow rules are set out in our Escrow Terms.

    8. One AccoSwap Account Per Person

Each person may hold only one AccoSwap Account. Additional accounts, including accounts created to avoid a limit or a suspension, are not permitted and may be closed without notice.

    9. Enforcement

9.1 Assessment. AccoSwap assesses each suspected violation individually and decides, acting reasonably, what action is appropriate.

9.2 Warnings. For minor violations, AccoSwap Escrow may first issue a warning.

9.3 Suspension. For serious violations, or where a warning is not appropriate, AccoSwap may suspend an AccoSwap Account without prior warning. The length of any suspension is determined by AccoSwap Escrow according to the nature of the violation.

9.4 Permanent ban. Fraud, the sale of stolen Digital Assets and the recovery of a sold Digital Asset will normally result in a permanent ban.

9.5 Effect of suspension. While an AccoSwap Account is suspended, its Listings are paused and the AccoSwap Account cannot be used on the site. A suspension does not by itself cancel an active escrow, as explained in our Escrow Terms. Where a Seller is involved in fraud, the escrow may be cancelled, the Buyer refunded in full and the Seller suspended.

    10. Appeals

Suspensions are never lifted automatically. To request reactivation, email appeals@accoswap.com from the email address on your AccoSwap Account, with your appeal and an explanation of the circumstances. AccoSwap Escrow reviews each appeal and decides whether, and when, to reactivate the AccoSwap Account.

    11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

11.1 Contact us first. If you have a problem with a payment, please contact support before filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or PayPal, so that we can try to resolve it.

11.2 Consequences. If you file a chargeback or reverse a payment made to AccoSwap, we may freeze your AccoSwap Account and Wallet, deduct the reversed amount from your balance and suspend your AccoSwap Account. Appeals follow the process in section 10.

    12. Reporting a Problem

If you see anything that breaks these rules, please report it through AccoSwap Chat or by email to support@accoswap.com. Reports help keep the marketplace safe for everyone.

    13. Common Questions

Does a suspension cancel my escrow?

Not by itself. An active escrow normally continues and is completed in the usual way, unless the Seller is involved in fraud. See our Escrow Terms.

Can I discuss payment with the other party?

Yes, provided the discussion is about paying through AccoSwap. Arranging a payment outside AccoSwap is not permitted.

My message was flagged. Am I in trouble?

Not necessarily. A flag is not a penalty; it allows our team to review the message. Warnings and suspensions are issued only where a violation is found.

How long does a suspension last?

This depends on the violation and is decided by AccoSwap Escrow. Suspensions are never lifted automatically. To appeal, email appeals@accoswap.com.

Can I open a new account if mine is suspended?

No. Each person may hold only one AccoSwap Account, and any account created to avoid a suspension may be closed.
